Bee Necklace

Just made this necklace combining new soldering and wire work skills. I might put this up for sale - I am trying to get my online store up and running.

Wire Working Class

I took another class - this time with Irina Kitaeva (www.curiousbydesign.com) - learned a lot of new things! Can't wait to try some out!

Copper Necklace

Practicing my new soldering skills.

New Elements

I added some new elements to a piece I made in Richard Salley's class.

Scarf - Finally!

This has been kicking around in my van for at least 2 years now - my daughter has ordered one in blue and purple - I think it is time for her to learn how to knit! Pattern is from Artful Yarns Legend #92094 - very easy!

Handmade Beads

Some "handmade" beads using PMC (Precious Metal Clay). Formed first with cork clay by just squeezing the clay in my hand. When the cork clay was completely dry I covered the cork with PMC - squeezed again in my hand (that gave it all the crinkles and lines) and fired it in the kiln - the cork inside completely burns out. They were then polished in the tumbler. My daughter formed the smallest one.

I haven't done any knitting for a while - now that winter is over

I Love Cheese

My daughter says "I love cheese!" Why? Who knows - she's a kid! So here is her cheese heart with a "cheese wheel" on the front. (She also says "I love chicken wings!" I haven't figured out how to make that yet!)

Frog Pond

I used a frog and water lily stamp from a friend (Thanks Andrea!) during a PMC Open Studio - some time in 2008. Andrea promplty created a bracelet from her pieces - I didn't get to it until last night. I tried to get a lily pad and water lily flower effect with the beads.
